REGISTRATION RULES FOR CONSTRUCTION HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER, MANAGER AND AGENT



The SACPCMP has given notice of the commencement of the registration of the Construction Health and Safety Officer, Manager and Agent. Copies of Board Notices 113, 114 and 115 of 2013, published in the Government Gazette No. 36525 of 31 May 2013 are attached. The commencement date was 1 June 2013 for Agents and 1 August 2013 for Managers and Officers.

The SACPCMP is empowered by Section 18(1) (c) of the Project and Construction Management Act (Act No. 48 of 2000), to prescribe any specified category which is the basis by which it is now prescribing the registration of the Construction Health and Safety Officer.
